Thing 3:  Although I am very new to blogs, I can see them as useful tools for communication and colaboration. Keeping open communication is always important to the school culture. The blogs I read mentioned many uses that our school would benefit from. Things such as: timelines, bookreports on line, video's made by students, student assignments, and class projects could be posted and shared.  The concern about the overuse by some students would require that guidelines be put in place prior to establishing a blog for students to use during school.
